Room with a view...

... if you can stay awake, that is! After a quick two days in the temporary lodging on base, we're camped out in our new rental house in Aiea. If someone had told me even a year ago I'd be living with a hilltop view of Pearl Harbor, I'd have thought them mad. It's almost unnervingly easy to sit on the deck and imagine swarms of propeller-driven aircraft over the harbor below. The history geek in me is more than content.


















As for the kids? Well, they'll be more impressed once the jet lag wears off, I suppose. They're going to have to pace themselves with all that swimming!
