It seems most Southern Baptist Churches have replaced the Royal Ambassador / Girls in Action programs with AWANA. But our church here is trying to help revive RAs/GAs on Oahu. Lisa's enjoying teaching the young ladies, and Don went Friday night with Nathan and Matthew to the first RA camp held locally in a long time. The nice thing is that it gave Don a chance to share something from HIS childhood with the boys. Relay races, bonfires, knife safety classes, straw racing -- what's not to like?
